
Due to the epidemiological situation facing the country caused by COVID-19, and the consequent measures adopted, which limit the movement of people to prevent their mobility and prevent consumers from acquiring the products of the regulated family basket, by not being able to proceed with the procedures, the constitution of a nucleus was authorized in an exceptional manner.
The provision put into effect from July 19, endorsed by Resolution 96 of 2021 of Internal Trade, involves those consumers who do not have the updated address and receive the family basket regulated by their place of origin, as well as for those who do not have with the habitable certificate of their home or they have never been registered or repatriated before.
For the constitution of the nucleus, consumers who are in these cases must provide the following data or documents: name and surname recorded in the identity card, address of the place of origin, number of the base office, warehouse and nucleus where they are registered. , consigned in the supply book. Similarly, the name and surname of the people who make up the nucleus, address of the current place of residence and model M-6 (low-high consumer movement).
To process the model, the interested party must do so at the office of origin. It can also be in charge of another person over 18 years of age, or proceed through the Consumer Registry Office (ORC), where the request for the procedure is made, and the model can be sent digitally to the receiving office, or present it in hard copy. If proceeding through the office of origin, the term cannot exceed five business days.
In the case of consumers who have never been registered or repatriated before, for the establishment of the nucleus they must provide the following information in writing: name and surname of the interested party, personal statement of their current situation, name and surname of the people who make up the nucleus and address of the current place of residence.
After complying with the requirements established for each case, consumers will be granted an exceptional supply book, valid until December 31 of this year, which will be marked with the word COVID.
García Valle specified that with the exceptional supply book, the consumer can purchase bread within 72 hours after its issuance, and does not give the right to buy domestic fuels.
In the first month, the products will be received in the pilot warehouse, except for meat, eggs and milk, as appropriate, which are acquired in the linked retail establishment, and from the second month, all products are purchased in the unit where it was registered. . In all cases, if untrue information is verified, the book is canceled and the head of the nucleus is notified.
To proceed with the procedures, the interested parties should go to the ORC (Office) closest to their place of residence, where they will also receive precise guidance.
